DIET I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING written on 27th April, 2019.
Diet I follow. There were some questions as to what diet I follow to get remarkable health results.
Let me mention that there cannot be one diet suitable for everyone. I being vegetarian, my diet has to be different from those who take non-veg food. For illustration I am sharing diet I have followed, in last 2 months, with remarkable results for cholesterol reduction and reduction in BP for which I had been taking medicines for years.
My day starts with 1. Green Juice at 6.30 in morning. This is juice made from Karela, Aonla, Chukandar, Lemon and Lauki.
2. One cup of tea, with milk and Gur(Jaggery), not sugar at around 7.30.
3. Food at 8.30. This consists of Dal, 2 Chapatis made of mixed grains and vegetables. I include 2 table spoons of coconut oil, 2 table spoons of flaxseed oil and some ghee.
4. Overnight soaked dry fruits and seasonal fruits.
5. Lunch with some rice and Dal and some vegetables.
6. Absolutely nothing after lunch, till next morning.
This makes me do fast for more than 16 hours every day as my food intake is restricted to 6.30 to 1.30 PM.
This has made my BP normal and dramatic reduction in Cholesterol, fasting sugar and fasting insulin. An incidental beneficial effect has been reduction in weight. Presently my weight is LOWEST in last 30 years.
